Waterford FC owner Andy Pilley will be sentenced on July 3rd on four counts of fraud.
A Waterford FC statement prior to yesterdays hearing at Preston Crown Court said that all activities would continue as normal.
At Tuesday's hearing, the prosecution stated that the "sums taken in fraud" amounted to a figure believed to be approximately £15 million.
Back on the field, the club is second on the First Division table and just ten points off Galway at the top.
While on-field matters are set to continue as normal, writer of "The Pitch" with the Irish Examiner Ian Mallon, says the club will likely not be able to maintain the status quo for long.
