Waterford's Kelyn Cassidy steps between the ropes in Italy this evening knowing if he wins his bout, he will be going to the Paris Olympics.

He takes on Nurbek Oralbay in the quarter-finals with both boxers winning their final preliminaries yesterday.

The Kazakh boxer, Oralbay, boasts gold medals at the World Amateur Championships and Youth World Championships.

Cassidy's coach Paul Simpon spoke to WLR Sport as the final preparations were underway.
