A 24-year wait could come to an end this weekend when Ballymac face off with Kilkerrin/Clonberne in the All-Ireland club ladies' football semi-final.

The Munster champions go up against the Connacht Champions in Fraher Field on Saturday with Ballymac looking to make it back to the decider for the first time since 1998.

Kilkerrin/Clonberne meanwhile have been in the last two finals - winning last years outing when they beat Ballymac's old rivals Mounreabbey, while it was a reversal of fortunes the year before.

Ahead of throw-in, Ballymac remain the record holders for most All-Ireland titles with ten to their name.
