Ireland's fastest-ever TT racer heads to the Isle of Man this week hoping to go one step further to his fastest time ever on the Mountain Course.
Brian McCormack from Tramore started riding motorbikes at a young age and always knew that he would eventually be racing as a professional.
He began his love affair with the Isle of Man TT in 2010 and has been making the pilgrimage back to the island every year since then.
He says, "Unfortunately, I've been involved in quite a few incidents where lads have lost their lives. I've been involved in four crashes, and the last one I actually rode through the crash. It's a very selfish sport, I will say that."
This year he rides in the Super Bike, Super Stock, Super Sport and Super Twin categories and will be hoping to beat his previous fastest average speed around the course. His current PB stands at a staggering 128.9mph, while riders will regularly tip the scales in excess of 200mph.
Brian heads for the ferry on Wednesday, travelling from Belfast with four bikes in transit. His support crew of 7 mechanics will be following him over shortly after.
He sat down with WLR Sport this week to look ahead to what can only be described as one of the most ludicrous events in world sport.
