Portlaw native Hayley Fitzsimons is the featured athlete for episode two of WLR's Diversity in Sport series on On The Ball.

Hayley has represented Ireland at the dwarf world games on three occasions, throwing the javelin and shot putt as well as competing in other events.

While she is no longer competing in track and field contests, her latest goal will see her taking on a half marathon.

Hayley sat down with WLR Sport to discuss her life in sport with the challenges that she has had to overcome as well as the lack of support dwarf sports have received in Ireland.
