A new foundation has been established in memory of the late Craig Breen.
The Waterford Rally Driver passed away in April following a crash in a testing session in Croatia.
The Craig Breen Foundation will provide support and funding for the Irish J1000 Forestry Series, which is aimed at 14-17 year olds starting out in the sport
A prize fund of €35,000 will be made available for the 2024 J1000 series, while recipients will also receive a funded drive in the Hyundai i20 Cup.
Other benefits will see young drivers get Rally tuition at the John Haughland Rally School as well as receiving pace notes tuition from Breen former co-driver Paul Nagle.
One of the Foundation's founders, and a close personal friend of Breen's, Andrew Fanning, has been chatting to WLR Sport about what this new initiative will mean for young drivers in Ireland.
