Carrick United are basking in glory following their U-16 girls national title at the weekend, becoming the first team in the Waterford Schoolgirls League to win a national title.
A Clodagh Power 1st-half goal handed them a hard fought 1-0 win over Arrow Harps at Cahir Park on Sunday.
Coach and assistant manager Janice Lynch says lifting a national trophy means everything to the club.
"It's been a rollercoaster to see them grow and just get better and better."
Janice joined Gavin Whelan on On The Ball on Monday evening to reflect on a historic success.
