Waterford entrepreneur Louise Grubb, who is founder and CEO of companion animal diagnosis and treatment business TriviumVet, was named the 'IMAGE PwC Businesswoman of the Year' at a special event in Dublin on Friday night last.

The awards, held at the Clayton Hotel, saw outstanding women in business recognised in eleven categories with overall Businesswoman of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement Awards also handed out.

Louise Grubb was described as an exceptional leader and contributor to innovation in global companion animal health.

The audience heard that TriviumVet is a culmination of Louise’s passion for animals and R&D, bridging the treatment gaps for companion animal care.

Previous to this company, she founded NutriScience, which develops, manufactures and markets novel veterinary nutraceuticals, a business that was acquired by Swedencare in 2009.

She is also founder and Chairperson of Q1 Scientific, a stability storage solutions provider for the life science industry.
