Twenty years after the disappearance of her brother, a Waterford woman has spoken about how difficult the lack of closure has been for her family.

Gerard Seward, from Ardmore, was just 23 when he went missing back in 2002.

He was last seen on the morning of Sunday, January 27, in Tallow and his car was later discovered at Ballyquin Beach in Ardmore with the engine running.

Today (Wednesday) is Missing Persons Day,  an annual day of commemoration which takes place on the first Wednesday in December each year.

Ann Seward, who is Gerard's sister, spoke to Damien Tiernan on Deise Today about her brother's story and how even after all these years, the family still lives in hope of news.
