Cyril O'Sullivan, CEO of ISPCA, and Barbara Bent of Waterford SPCA joined Damien in studio to chat about animals and the SPCAs.
Barbara is wrapping up after 50 years of working on animal protection here in Waterford and 10 years with the Waterford SPCA.
She will continue to work hard in Wexford with the services they offer continuing there.
The Waterford SPCA is closing at the end of this month due to a lack of volunteers.
It has been open here for the last 140 years.
The three discussed what the plan for the coming months is, and why it's important to be kind to animals, with Barbara saying that if someone is good to animals, it is likely they will be kind to people.
They also touched on the fact that it is against the law to treat your animal poorly.
Cyril says their main focus is to develop services across the area.
