Waterford Helping the Homeless, a voluntary group, has obtained a new premises in the city.

The unit was kindly donated by the Maranatha Church, and is located across from their building on Railway Square.

The group that started off with a shopping trolley on the streets of Waterford City is now open to anyone who is in need of a cup of tea or toast, clothes, or just a friendly chat.

Aoife Kearns met with Victor and Suzie from the group and spoke to Anthony and Ellen - a couple who use the service in Waterford city.
