A food collection will take place at every home game in the RSC as part of a new partnership between Waterford Food Bank and Waterford FC.
Waterford FC supporters attending the games are being asked to by bringing along non perishable items and in doing so, support people in need within the Waterford community.
Cereals, rice, pasta, sauces, tea, coffee, soups, tinned food and biscuits are all being requested with the message that even one item can make a difference!
Waterford FC's Colin Power said it's the first of a number of new community-based initiatives the club are planning to develop in the city and county throughout the 2023 season and beyond.
Karen Glancy from Waterford Food Bank meanwhile, said they are very excited to have the support of the club.
The partnership was announced last Friday afternoon at the RSC.
