Sarah Jane Cleary, Director of Waterford's Imagine Arts Festival and Una Kealy, Producer/Performer, joined Damien in studio to discuss this year's festival.

Sarah Jane was recently appointed as the Creative Director and discussed her new role.

The festival began as a Grassroots Community Arts Festival 21 years ago.

The two spoke about the importance of a wide programme of events. The events have to be able to reach kids and older people in order to make it an all-inclusive event.

The programme of events will begin at 11 every morning and run into the afternoon. There are also some events that are free of charge.

This years theme is the symbiotic relationship between the city and the river.

The women speak about the importance of art in life, how they relate to it, and what can be depicted through art.
