Are you 'living the dream' this summer?!

When we reminisce on childhood summers, we often think of things like ice-cream and buckets and spades on sandy beaches!

But 'picture perfect' is often not the summer reality when you reach adulthood - and the pressure to achieve that can be immense.

In the current economic climate, many people are financially stretched and others are feeling pressure that is emotional and psychological.

And being exposed to other people's seemingly 'perfect summer holidays' on social media is not helping either!

On this morning's (Tuesday's) 'Deise Today', Maria McCann spoke to Eileen Finnegan who is a family therapist and a forensic psychotherapist.

She wrote about this issue in the 'Irish Independent' this week.
