A Waterford woman took part in a protest this morning outside of Leinster House as part of the Mesh Survivors Ireland Group.

The group, which has more than 500 members, is made up of women seeking justice from the HSE for their ongoing medical difficulties.

Terri Martin, who is originally from Ferrybank but who now lives in Mooncoin spoke about her experiences on Deise Today.

She says women are living in daily pain as a result of their mesh implants.

"Ireland is supposed to have patient-centred care. Mesh is after causing mutilation. There's people that can't have intimate relations with their partners, people have separated, and people are in pain. Lives have been destroyed."
