Mick Barry, a Socialist Party TD, joined Damien to discuss liquidation following the unannounced closure of The Butcher's Block.
Five members of staff in Dungarvan and 15 in Cork have lost their jobs following the closure of the business.
Staff were given no notice and told that the company cannot afford to pay them what they are owed.
Mick spoke to Damien on the lack of worker's rights when it comes to liquidation.
The employees are owed holiday pay, time in lieu, redundancy pay, and the previous week's wages.
Under the current liquidation laws, they are not guaranteed any of this other than the redundancy pay.
