Mary Sinnott and Declan Kelly joined Damien in studio to discuss cycling around Waterford.

Mary is a member of the Waterford Bike Users Group. It was set up to promote safer cycling in 2018, while also focusing on pedestrian safety.

She is from Ferrybank and has been cycling to and from the city since age 13 - she discussed what that is like.

Mary wants more space and comfort for cyclists - but wants people to know this nothing to do with politics or being anti-motorists.

Declan is the Right Leader for Cycling Ireland.

He teaches cycling and constantly hears how people are afraid of the road.

The two discussed the County Development Plan and road works.

They also spoke about the effect of progress in terms of cycle lanes, using Manor Street as an example.
