Louise Buggy and her husband Cormac run Bodega and Burzza restaurants in Waterford City and Louise joined Damien this morning to discuss the increasing number of restaurant closures which have occurred across Ireland since Christmas.
There have been a number of high profile closures, with many owners citing increasing costs such as rising food and energy prices, commercial rates and VAT.
The Restaurants Association of Ireland (RAI) claims that the number of its members which have shut down since Christmas has pushed the total number of closures over the last six months to more than 280.
