The people of Somalia who are facing a hunger crisis will be supported by this year's Trocaire Lenten campaign.
Fifty years since it started, Trocaire has changed the lives of tens of millions of people around the world.
The annual Lenten campaign sees the iconic Trocaire box displayed in hundreds of thousands of schools, churches and homes all over the country, in the build up to Easter.
This year's campaign is being headed up by Susan Swift who lives in Waterford.
She popped into studio this week to chat to Damien about the campaign and to re-cap on 50 years of the well-known charity.
