As part of our ongoing focus on the lack of supports and school places for children with autism, Damien was joined in studio this morning (Monday) by local dads Conor and Kevin.
Kevin O'Sullivan is a dad of three, living here in the city, and his son David, is aged four, autistic and non-verbal.
Conor Coady's son is Harry, meanwhile, and he is also aged four.
Harry was diagnosed as autistic just in July last and is what is described as pre-verbal.
Kevin and Conor spoke very openly on air this morning about the daily reality of living with children with autism - and the battle to get them the supports they need, including school places.
