This week on 'Deise Today', we've been focussing on road safety outside Waterford schools, now that the new academic year is in full swing.
Earlier this week, Damien visited Scoil Lorcain in St John's Park where an accident close to the school last week brought previous concerns voiced in that area, back on the agenda.
Yesterday afternoon (Wed), Damien travelled to Lismore in Co Waterford where school authorities, parents and students have previously lobbied for speed ramps, pedestrian crossings and a one-way traffic system outside Blackwater Community College.
Damien spoke to some school bus drivers there yesterday, as they waited for students finishing up on their weekly half-day.
