As part of our current series with Aiseiri (addiction treatment), 'Deise Today' this morning (Friday) featured an interview with Aileen and Gerry.
Aileen's son Dylan had a severe drug addiction a few years back and she credits his treatment at the Aislinn Adolescent Treatment Centre in Ballyragget in Co Kilkenny, with saving his life.
Aislinn is run by Aiseiri who have extensive rehabilitation and treatment services in Waterford and the South East.
Gerry Carroll is the Head of Recovery Support Services with Aiseiri.
He, and Aileen, came into studio to speak with Damien this morning.
Aileen told her family's own story, going through the darkest days of her son's addiction, to the current day where he - and their family - are all doing well.
