Ivan Grimes, Director of Services with Responsibility for Housing, Community, and Emergency Services with Waterford City and County Council joined Damien in studio to discuss the Mount Suir Apartments.
The apartments have been a topic of conversation since the beginning of last year.
Residents have been complaining of mould, damp, leaks, emergency exits, and a lack of response from the local authority.
Meanwhile, Ivan says between the four weeks from the middle of December up to the end of last week, there was just one complaint lodged.
He added that the council is working with a roofing specialist and assessing options of putting in an additional level of roof cover in certain parts.
Tender documents are being prepared for that at the moment.
