There are many facets of life in which the current chronic housing crisis is having an impact – and student life is one of them.

With students studying remotely last year, many landlords made the switch to longer-term tenants, with the result that the student accommodation crisis is at its worst in many, many years.

How does Waterford fare when it comes to student accommodation?

Here in Waterford, it’s estimated up to 1 in 10 WIT students are either commuting long distances, ‘couch surfing’ with friends – OR paying for hotel or B&B accommodation.
