All this week, WLR News and Current Affairs have been focussing on housing in Waterford and how the housing crisis that exists nationally is manifesting itself here.
The real life stories of those stuck in housing ruts - especially people and families stuck in unsuitable, cramp and even damp - accommodation have been part of this series, as well as the stories of those who have, and are, struggling to get on the property ladder and also those who can't find rental accommodation due to lack of supply.
This morning, Damien heard the heartbreaking story of Debbie Power, from Waterford city.
A mother of four, Debbie is on the housing list for the past 9 years and in renting a property at the moment for herself and her four children where there's mould on the walls and ceilings.
Debbie shares a room with her 10-year-old daughter with asthma who sleeps on a mattress on the floor.
Her teenage boy and girl share a bedroom while her 24-year-old is in a room with a bed that can't even fit a locker. She says it's not even a bedroom.
