Bus Éireann will be taking over public transport routes from Passage East, Dunmore East and Portlaw into Waterford City - Transport for Ireland have announced.

The National Transport Authority have deemed the provision of these services as a public service obligation, having undertaken a review.

Once Suirway cease operations on the 31st of October, Bus Éireann will provide a continuation of services.

Local Link will also play a role in providing services in the area, as Suirway's 123-year legacy will come to an end in a fortnight's time.
