Dungarvan-based Darragh Connolly of Haven Pharmacy Connollys was on hand to talk to Damien about antigen testing and other issues.

One of the big talking points has been the price of these tests, in particular after Health Minister Stephen Donnelly confirmed the government would not be subsidising them, as market prices had adjusted accordingly.

On the issue of the cheaper prices of antigen tests in supermarkets, he said while you might pay more in your local pharmacy, you're also getting invaluable professional help and advice on how to use them, from qualified staff.

Darragh Connolly says it's worse to use antigen testing incorrectly, than to not use one at all.

Also among the topics covered today by Darragh was the very contentious issue of  kids now having to wear masks from 3rd class up.
