A WATERFORD couple who opened an artisan bakery in Dungarvan during the Covid pandemic are enjoying fantastic success, just a year and a half into their business.
The Dun Artisan Bakery on Main Street is owned by Fergal Walsh and Caitriona Keating who are both passionate bakers and enjoy making bread and pastries with their own unique approach to flavour.
Living in Tramore, with their four children, it's an early start each morning for the couple who start the baking process in Dun at 4am.
Many of their ingredients actually come from their own 1/2 acre farm plot in Tramore where there grow things like honeyberries, edible flowers, organic blueberries and cranberries.,
For the couple, their business is a real labour of love, as Fergal explained to Damien on 'Deise Today' this morning (Wednesday).
