An important deadline is looming in April for Irish people who worked in the UK for a time and are entitled to a UK pension!

Many Irish people who worked there are, in fact, even unaware of their entitlement to same or their ability to increase their entitlement!

April 15 is the deadline which has been set by the UK government to buy up 18 years of State pension contributions at a very cheap rate - with obvious, huge benefits for Irish people who have a UK pension.

John Ring is the Operations Director of 'Xtrapension' and he spoke to Damien on 'Deise Today' this morning (Wed) about the issue.

We also spoke to Sarah, who worked in the UK for just 6 years and now could find herself the beneficiary of a lucrative pension payment per year.
