It started with the shocking stabbing of three children and an adult outside a city centre school at lunchtime yesterday (Friday).

But as darkness fell, riots and mayhem ensued on our capital's streets as thugs turned violent, looted shops and burnt out garda cars, a Luas tram, a bus and much more.

This morning (Friday), 'Deise Today' did a special focus on the horror events in Dublin throughout yesterday.

This morning, a five-year-old girl is fighting for her life in hospital and a creche worker is battling serious injuries too after the appalling stabbing outside a Parnell St school.

Meanwhile, 32 people are due to appeal before the Criminal Courts of Justice following the night of violent disorder.
