It started with the shocking stabbing of three children and an adult outside a city centre school at lunchtime yesterday (Friday).
But as darkness fell, riots and mayhem ensued on our capital's streets as thugs turned violent, looted shops and burnt out garda cars, a Luas tram, a bus and much more.
This morning (Friday), 'Deise Today' did a special focus on the horror events in Dublin throughout yesterday.
This morning, a five-year-old girl is fighting for her life in hospital and a creche worker is battling serious injuries too after the appalling stabbing outside a Parnell St school.
Meanwhile, 32 people are due to appeal before the Criminal Courts of Justice following the night of violent disorder.
Our 'Deise Today' special featured the sounds and voices from yesterday's events; eyewitness accounts, political reaction and also reaction from an ex garda detective sergeant who himself has had first-hand experience of dealing with violence and thuggery on the streets.
