A HUGELY comprehensive book that documents the history of Dunhill GAA recently won the prestigious honour of a GAA MacNamee award.
Penned by Senan Cooke, the 'The History of Dunhill GAA 1882- 2022' won the award for Best GAA Club Book for 2o22.
Senan was a guest on 'Deise Today' this morning (Monday) where he discussed the book, all proceeds for which are being donated to the Dunhill GAA Club.
Originally from Kilmacow, Senan also talked about his love for rural communities, the importance of restoring rural communities, and all the work he has done to help communities across Ireland.
Senan also discussed the importance of GAA in the community and how GAA encourages inclusion in the community for everyone.
