A sentencing date has been set for Waterford FC owner Andy Pilley.
The Fleetwood Town and Blues owner appeared for a pre-sentence hearing at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday afternoon.
The 52-year-old is set to be sentenced for fraud charges in relation to allegations of mis-selling energy supplies.
Mr. Pilley was found guilty of two counts of running a business with the intention of defrauding creditors, one count of false representations, and one count of being concerned with the retention of criminal property.
His defence said he wanted to be sentenced as quickly as possible as his situation was far from ideal.
He has been remanded in custody until his sentencing on Monday, July 3, which could, however, be subject to change later this week.
On Deise Today this week, Damien extensively discussed what this means for Waterford FC going forward, speaking with Jordan Norris from WLR News, while there is also a segment from a discussion between WLR Sport's Nigel Kelly and Iain Mallon of the Irish Examiner.
