On Monday's Deise Today, Damien was joined on the line by Rosie Quigley from the Death Café - a new community initiative which was recently established in New Ross.
Rosie is an occupational therapist by profession; working in the mental health sector. The community initiative held their first meeting in the past week.
The group invites people who wish to discuss the topic of death to do so in a safe and confidential environment.
The group is open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs - with Rosie outlining that the group offers an opportunity for many to become less fearful of the brevity of life.
