Are you a pet owner who sometimes lets your dog put his head out the passenger or back seat windows?!
If so, it's an extremely dangerous thing to do, according to Waterford driving instructor Richie Roberts who was speaking on Deise Today this morning (Monday).
If the car breaks suddenly, the animal could fall out or hit a pedestrian with force. Also, what can and sometimes does happen, is that a passing bee or bird could hit the dog and burst the animals's eyeball, the driving instructor warned.
Richie Roberts, who is a member of the Waterford Driving Instructors' Association, also spoke on the programme about the huge dangers of having children in cars without seat belts AND the need for everyone to treat learner drivers with more respect on the roads.
