Listen back to Waterford woman Caroline Foskin, who spoke to Damien this morning (Monday) on Deise Today.

She was speaking about her partner John Upton who was left with very serious health issues after being rushed to hospital with a severe headache in December 2019. Doctors later discovered a clot on his brain stem, leaving him unable to walk. John's recovery has been slow and he's had to regain his ability to use his hands, and speak.

John, most recently, has been recovering in Clarenbridge in Galway, a facility which specialises in treatment of brain injuries.

However, last month, he had reason to be transferred to Galway University Hospital because of some health complications.

As Caroline told Damien Tiernan this morning, she has serious concerns regarding his care while in the hospital, to the extent that she has since lodged a formal complaint...
