Brian de Pauw joined Damien via phone live from Belgium to discuss his feature in a new Netflix documentary.

Brian was a pilot for the Air Safari Tours. He landed his helicopter on New Zealand's Whakaari or White Island shortly before it erupted in December of 2019.

The eruption killed 22 people.

It is documented in Netflix's newest documentary ‘The Volcano: Rescue from Whakaari.'

During the documentary, Brian is credited with saving lives through some heroic actions on the day.

Brian discussed this and the day the incident occurred with Damien.

Brian's mother is actually from the Cork Road. He discussed this a little bit too.
