In episode 38 of Our To Protect, entitled, Irish Honey Bees 2 - The Asian Hornet, we look at a  WHAT IF the Asian Hornet or Vespa Velutina becomes established in Ireland it may well be the final nail in the coffin for native pollinators and honey bees on the island. This week reporter, Clodagh Walsh hears why beekeepers are worried about the impact of Vespa Velutina on honey bees and what the wider implications of the arrival of this species could mean.
