Ours To Protect 32 - Deposit Return Scheme
It's week 32 of Ours To Protect and Clodagh has been finding out about a new initiative, the Deposit Return Scheme which will be launched on February 1st.
Described as a circular economy initiative, it will see a refundable deposit or levy added to certain plastic, steel and aluminium drinks containers.
Ours To Protect is a collaboration between WLR and the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland, financed by Coimisin na Meán with the Television Licence Fee.
