Local artist Lisa Keane has really been making waves with her colourful urban scenes from around Waterford. She tells me that lock-down was a particularly busy time with commissions. Lisa has also produced a calendar of her work that has done very well, in particular among expats, and she hopes to bring out another for 2021. Cork native Norma Sheahan has appeared on numerous high-profile TV shows, from The Clinic to Damo and Ivor to Moone Boy and lots more besides. These days Norma is a one-woman show with a stand-up tour Heal your Hole and a podcast series of the same name. Waterford Healing Arts Trust, which is located on the grounds of University Hospital Waterford, has received funding from Creative Ireland to support its arts programmes for older people through a government initiative.  The Creativity in Older Age Programme aims to support projects by seven organisations which help to counteract the impact of the pandemic on the older population in Ireland.  The Creative Ireland funding awarded to WHAT will specifically support Renew, and Assistant Director with the trust, Maeve Butler, joined me in studio to discuss what that will entail..
