Do you want to help Santa turn on the Waterford Christmas lights?

Christmas will officially begin with the launch of Winterval, Ireland Christmas Festival on Friday, November 17th and WLR and Winterval have a special prize to give away! We're inviting all the boys and girls of Waterford to share their favourite Winterval Story with us. We'll read over all your amazing experiences, and one lucky child will win the incredible opportunity to help Santa turn on the Waterford Christmas lights.

Imagine standing on the Winterval stage on the evening of November 17th at 6 pm, helping Santa Claus and the Mayor of Waterford City and County illuminate the Christmas lights in Waterford City. How amazing would that be?

Here's how you can win this incredible opportunity:

Simply send a Text, Voice Note, or WhatsApp message to 083 33 33 975 or email [email protected], including your child's favourite Winterval Story, their name, age, and your contact details as parents.

Share your Winterval Story, and who knows, you could find yourself on stage at John Robert's Square on November 17th, making Waterford City sparkle with Christmas lights. (Please ensure you're available on November 17th.)
