Landslides and multiple roads impassable in West Waterford

A number of roads are impassible and landslides have also been reported in West Waterford this evening as the county remains under a Status Orange weather advisory until midnight.

A significant amount of rain has fallen which has resulted in multiple floods across the county.

As of 10:30pm, there has been a landslide and multiple trees are down on the Ballysaggart to Araglen Road. The road is impassable and people are asked to avoid the area.

A flood has been reported on the Lismore Bridge, while motorists are advised to travel with caution between Tallow and Youghal.

A tree has fallen in the Moonamon area near Cliffes, close to the junction of the N72.

Significant flooding has been reported on the Lismore to Ballyduff Upper Road, while the same can be said in parts of Conna and between Aglish & Villierstown.

There are no known power outages at this time.
