A status yellow weather warning for rainfall has been issued for 5 counties including Waterford, from this afternoon.
Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Wicklow will be hit by heavy rain at times this evening, which Met Eireann warns could lead to spot flooding.
The warning will come into place at 4 o clock this afternoon until half 11 tonight.
