Waterford Train Station is closed until further notice because of flooding.
Irish Rail says the Waterford to Heuston Dublin service will begin at Kilkenny instead.
It's understood passengers will be taken to Kilkenny by bus to meet the train.
This issue occurred a number of times last year, following long periods of rain. However, this is the first closure of 2023 due to flooding.
Waterford station will be closed until further notice due to flooding. 07.50 Waterford/Heuston will start from Kilkenny. Passengers at Thomastown will be transferred to Kilkenny via bus transfer. -AD
