That's according to The Irish Times Feeder Schools List for 2023, which was published today.

Waterford dominated the leaderboard for student progression to Tech Universities, with the Presentation Secondary School, Our Lady of Mercy Secondary School, De La Salle College, Ard Scoil na Mara, the Abbey Community College, Newtown School, Colaiste Chathail Naofa, and St. Angela's all reporting high pecentages of students.

Newtown School, Waterpark College, Meán Scoil San Nioclás, and Gaelcholáiste Phort Láirge saw at least 100 percent progression to 3rd level.

Schools which reported higher than 100% progression included statistics of students who had in some cases sat the Leaving Certificate examination in a previous year and who had deferred the place, or sat as an external student.
