Waterford man scoops £250,000 on 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?'

A 28 year old County Waterford man is celebrating after winning £250,000 (approx. €293,000) on ITV's 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?'

Ger Crowly from Stradbally, a Post Doctoral Researcher in neuroscience, appeared on the game show on Sunday March 10th.

Ger currently lives in London and his 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire?' journey began three years ago when he was involved in a feeder show called 'Fastest Finger First.'

Sunday night's show was recorded for television in February 2023, meaning he had to keep his success under wraps for over a year.
