Three units from Waterford Fire Service responded to an incident at St Patrick's Hospital this morning at approximately 9.30am.
The fire was extinguished on arrival and there were no injuries resulting from the fire that was contained to the room of origin.
Fire service operations concluded on the site at 10am.
