Waterford based IT company HCS to double its workforce

HCS, which is headquartered in Waterford, intends to double the size of its workforce with the creation 30 new jobs in the next three years.

The IT, security and telecoms company, which has been in existence for almost 25 years, says it forecasts increased revenues of €9m.

HCS is hiring across the high-growth areas of cybersecurity, business applications, telecoms, and managed services, with a view to growing to 60 people.

In a statement, HCS says it's investing €3.2 million to provide a wider range of services to customers, and to open a new location in Cork. This would bring to three its number of bases in Ireland; with a presence in Dublin as well as the Cleaboy Business Park in Waterford.
