Men arrested at Waterford Airport on suspicion of international drug trafficking will appear before the high court again next week.
They were arrested as soon as their plane landed locally last Wednesday and have been in custody since.
The three men - two 54-year-olds from Sweden, and one 34-year-old from Lithuania - were detained on foot of European arrest warrants, issued in Sweden.
They're flight originated in Belgium, stopping in the UK before arriving in Waterford, where Gardaí were waiting for them.
The men were immediately separated and brought to Tramore, Dungarvan, and Waterford Garda Stations, where they remained until yesterday morning.
At that stage they were brought to the High Court in Dublin in relation to their extradition.
Gardaí have told WLR News that they're liaising with their counterparts in both Sweden and the UK at the moment and a file is being prepared for the DPP here.
No drugs were found on them when they landed here however.
An international intelligence operation is what led to their arrest here, as part of a Europe-wide investigation.
The three have been remanded until the 11th of this month for the formal execution of the European arrest warrants.
