The Mount Congreve Visitor Experience was unveiled last week as a world-famous attraction.

Reported by curator Michael White to have the largest and most varied array of magnolias outside of China, the gardens draw a big crowd to see them.

One of the magnolias has a little more 'star-quality' than the others, and that's the 'Adam Clayton' magnolia.

Named by Michael White after U2's Adam Clayton, the flower was propagated from seed, named in honour of the musician.

Clayton himself is a devotee of the magnolia and has himself been a visitor to the gardens in recent years.

With U2 paying tribute to the flower on their Instagram page yesterday, the Déise could be set to see him visit the gardens once again.
