Gardaí investigating a shooting incident which occurred in County Carlow on 5th December 2022 have released two of the people, who were arrested on Monday, without charge.
Both persons (aged in their 30s and 50s) were released without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Three men (aged in their 20s) remain detained under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007, at Garda stations in the South Eastern Region.
A man (aged in his 30s) was arrested yesterday (Tuesday) and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in the South Eastern region.
There are now four persons detained in relation to this investigation.
